160 kW Solar Power System:
Over cutting-edge solar installation featuring 352 high-efficiency solar panels is designed to harness the sun's power effectively generating over 200,000 kW of clean energy annually. Included in the system's design and planning phase the American Sign Museum has been able to maximize the number of financial solar incentives available for the project.
Solar Savings:
Adding solar to the facility will save the American Sign Museum approximately $16,000 annually in utility costs by covering 35+% of our power needs from the Solar array. This will allow the museum to invest in acquiring new signs, restoring more sign history, improvements to our facility, and add new team members.
Environmental Impact:
With this solar installation we're offsetting 3,260 tons of CO2 over the next 30 years---equivalent to eliminating 7,400,000 miles of driven by a Gasoline powered car, and is comparable to planting 48,800 trees annually to reduce the effects of greenhouse gasses.
